Large-bore Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Cylinders Pass On-site FAT Acceptance for Northern Europe Infrastructure Project

Recently, a Chinese manufacturer of large-bore hydraulic cylinders hosted a delegation from a European OEM customer for full-scale on-site Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of custom heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders.

This batch of cylinders is engineered for heavy-duty working conditions of ongoing infrastructure projects in Northern Europe. Client engineers performed comprehensive on-site verification, including drawing review, raw material traceability, dimensional tolerance check, welding NDT inspection, hydrostatic pressure test, dynamic cycling test, sealing performance evaluation, surface finishing assessment and complete technical documentation audit. Manufactured and inspected in strict accordance with EU Machinery Directive and ISO hydraulic standards, all units passed acceptance with zero non-conformities recorded in the FAT report.

Previously, most Chinese hydraulic cylinders exported to Europe were aftermarket replacement spare parts. Nowadays, custom-built large-bore heavy-duty cylinders made in China are increasingly supplied directly for local European infrastructure projects. This successful FAT validates that Chinese cylinder suppliers have reached European high-end project requirements in engineering design, precision machining, full-range testing and compliance documentation. The proportion of Chinese large-size hydraulic cylinders directly delivered for European end-user projects is steadily increasing.

Driven by European infrastructure investment, more overseas orders for large-bore heavy-duty custom cylinders are expected. The manufacturer will keep improving CE compliance capability, FAT test procedure and full-set document delivery to expand business across Europe and global heavy-duty industrial markets.
