Recently, the China Hydraulics Pneumatics & Seals Association released industrial statistics. Demand for hydraulic components of construction machinery rebounded in the first half of 2026. Driven by infrastructure, mining and agricultural machinery projects, the market demand for high-pressure cylinders has risen sharply, while exports of customized products such as double-acting stabilizer leg cylinders and heavy-duty telescopic cylinders have registered remarkable growth.
Three major trends are emerging across the industry: First, high-pressure design has become mainstream. Cylinders rated at 250 bar and above are widely equipped on excavators, loaders and other large engineering machinery. Second, electro-hydraulic integration is gaining popularity. Cylinders equipped with sensors and intelligent monitoring functions are gradually replacing traditional models. Third, overseas market demand keeps expanding. Construction machinery manufacturers in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America have increased purchases of Chinese-made hydraulic cylinders, leading to a sharp surge in orders for non-standard customized cylinders.
Industry insiders noted that downstream complete machine manufacturers have raised stricter customized requirements for cylinders in terms of stroke, mounting distance, load-bearing strength and other core parameters. Cylinder manufacturers with precision machining capabilities and fast drawing provision services stand out from competitors. Supported by continuous global infrastructure investment, export prospects for high-pressure cylinders are expected to remain positive in the second half of the year.
